Design the main screen of a coaching and personalized medicine app for health-conscious users.

Goal

The goal was to create a modern and visually appealing website that reflected the client's brand and delivered a seamless user experience. The website needed to be responsive, easy to navigate, and optimized for search engines to improve their online visibility.

Research Research Research

1. User Persona Research: Qualitative research was conducted through user interviews and surveys to develop user personas that would inform the design direction of the app. We identified two primary user personas: health-conscious millennials who are tech-savvy and busy professionals who prioritize health but have limited time for self-care.

2. Usability Testing: The method of in-person usability testing with a diverse range of users to evaluate how easy and intuitive the app was to use.

A think-aloud protocol to gather qualitative feedback from users on their experience using the app.

3. Engagement Metrics: Engagement metrics such as the number of daily active users, the duration of each user session were tracked, and the number of times users accessed specific features of the app to identify which features were most popular and useful.

Solution

By using a combination of user persona research, usability testing, surveys, and feedback channels, it was possible to design a coaching and personalized medicine app that met the needs and preferences of health-conscious users. The app's minimalist design approach, personal risk scores with visual cues, personalized recommendation feature, and optimized tracking and recording tools helped users achieve their health and wellness goals with ease. The app received positive feedback from users and achieved high praise and nods, including a significant number of users interested in its final implementation processes.
